WORK EXPERIENCE

INDEPENDENT CONSULTANT  •  Lilo Life  •  January 2016 - Present

  • Improved operational efficiency and organizational transparency for the Partnership for Community Development (PCD) team at Colgate University by developing a dashboard for data analysis, a CRM database, and task management workflows for grant operations, donor management, and managing The Hub (a New York State certified business incubator and co-working space). 
  • Led projects with vendors for delivering services to businesses such as video productionweb developmentbranding, and consulted on digital strategy, customer experience design, and process improvement while consciously reducing waste.
  • Dedicated time for pro bono services for women and minority businesses globally to assist with implementing technology and acceleration.

REAL ESTATE INVESTOR  •  Lilo Homes  •  October 2018 - Present

  • Effectively rented properties for 92% over the average fair market value by analyzing data; validating a niche demand. 
  • Developed processes to support execution of property renovations by ensuring the preservation of the homes' originality, integrating smart home technology (i.e. Nest products), and implementing sustainable solutions.

DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMS & OPERATIONS  •  MVCC thINCubator  •  Jan 2016 - March 2021

  • Established the 1st co-working space in Utica, NY that averaged a 43% gain in revenue each year over 4 years after analyzing data that identified a need for affordable workspace within our community and an opportunity to generate revenue. 
  • Accomplished over $550K in funding for incubated companies from pitch competitionscrowdfunding, or private investment collectively by supporting market research, driving data-driven strategy, reverse engineering execution roadmaps, and creating compelling presentations.
  • Achieved an average instructor rating of 4.5/5 from program feedback surveys and consistently exceeded enrollment capacity for my Refinery Accelerator program, "Building a 10-Star Customer Experience" course, and the Inner Genius program.
  • Coached 350+ entrepreneurs through multiple programs, workshops, and 1-on-1 mentoring, while launching 60+ new startups over 5 years.
  • Achieved recognition regionally for fostering an entrepreneurial ecosystem and a vibrant culture of collaboration in our region, in part, from orchestrating over 300 events tailored to our community's demands while, in tandem, instituting sustainability-driven practices.
  • Developed the internal reporting system to effectively analyze and compile qualitative and quantitative data for presenting executive-ready presentations to multiple levels, including board members, partners, and peers.
  • Spearheaded the design and development of policies, procedures, and lean practices for onboarding, member experiences, and implementing sustainability solutions, enabling thINCubator to scale and improve quality service simultaneously.

BUSINESS STRATEGIST  •  Disfunkshion Magazine  •  January 2018 - April 2021

  • Yielded $50K+ in Disfunkshion's first 5-day launch of the Instagram Abundance course by leading the teams' development of its digital strategy including A/B testing with a list of over 20K subscribers and live webinars in collaboration with the founder.
  • Successfully delivered and developed the 7-module online course with a demanding turnaround time, post-launch.
  • Implemented timely adaptations to all digital channels, website policies, and future opt-ins for complying with international data privacy regulations (i.e. GDPR) and received positive responses from email subscribers for creative execution.
  • Coordinated logistics for 10 women to participate in the 1-week Radical Women Retreat in Hawaii by ensuring they met COVID-19 travel guidelines, arrived safely, and stayed informed of itinerary logistics during the retreat.

FOUNDER •  Lilo Hydration  •  January 2015 - April 2018

  • Awarded $50K for delivering a compelling start-up pitch presentation for an inverted water bottle patent licensed by the AFRL at the Griffis Institute of Technology's Commercialization Academy Demo Day and ASU Furnace Accelerator program.
  • Led a Rapid 2-day Syracuse University Design Challenge in collaboration with 20+ Industrial and Interaction Design students.
  • Developed product concept layouts, design specifications, and milestones for engineers to effectively produce prototypes while collaborating with blow molding/ injection molding plastics manufacturers to assess product feasibility and set standards for Lilo's sustainability goals.
  • Secured Letters of Intent by growing a reputation through market research, public relations strategies, and building critical relationships for production.
  • Developed deep expertise in the plastics industry to advocate for sustainable practices in the manufacturing process.

PROJECT SPECIALIST (STEP)  •  Mohawk Valley Community College  •  October 2015 - February 2017

  • Coached STEP (Science & Technology Entry Program) students grades 7-12 interested in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medical professions who are considered minorities or members of a group traditionally underrepresented.
  • Saved time and increased student enrollment by developing a digitized process and management system containing 100+ student records inspired by strategies discussed at a Data Analytics Conference.
  • Averaged 120 students and community members at 7 STEP speaking engagements by coordinating with organizations and STEM leaders.
