Stephen Deason

Experienced Executive and Entrepreneur

Drawing on several decades of experience, Stephen Deason is an entrepreneur and financial professional who has worked with a variety of firms during his career. Since June of 2019, Stephen Deason has served as CEO of The OPARasa Group, LLC, an outsourced consulting firm that he helped co-found.

Through this company, which is also a registered as a 501c(3), The OPARASA Foundation, Mr. Deason works with clients in early recovery programs to help them access housing and other services. While working with the firm, he has given a number of speeches covering a variety of topics, including a panel focused on the workforce impact of substance abuse, anxiety, stress, and depression.

Before starting his career, Mr. Deason studied at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he graduated with a BS in mathematics in 1992. He also holds an MBA in general business and an MS in accounting, which he earned from Emory University in 2010 and 2017, respectively.

Outside of his career, Stephen Deason enjoys a variety of hobbies, including volunteering for charities and attending his local church.
