Stephen Scarff

Committed Chaplain and Community Volunteer

Holding a master of arts in administration and policy studies in education from McGill University, Stephen Scarff also has an extensive background in theological studies. He earned a master of divinity from Yale Divinity School in 2012 and studied abroad at the University of Cambridge, earning a certificate in theology for ministry. Putting his spiritual education into professional practice, Stephen Scarff serves as chaplain with Compassus Hospice Care in North Andover, Massachusetts, where he helps patients and families navigate end-of-life care situations. 

Stephen Scarff has served as a volunteer with the SquashHaven after-school program and participated in Habitat for Humanity builds in the United States and abroad. He also volunteered with the J. Paul Getty Center in Los Angeles, California, and serves on the Board of Governors of Otis College of Art and Design, where he has aided in fundraising efforts for the school. Outside of his professional and volunteer pursuits, he enjoys activities such as beekeeping and fly fishing.
