An orthopaedic surgeon who has been treating New York City patients for over 30 years, Dr. Stuart Remer earned a bachelor of science in biology from Binghamton University and completed medical school at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He subsequently served a residency in general surgery through Mount Sinai Hospital, dual residencies in orthopaedic surgery through the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and New York Medical College, and a spinal surgery fellowship through the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases Orthopaedic Institute. From 1993 to 2013, Dr. Stuart Remer directed the spine surgery department of the Saint Barnabas Hospital and Health System in the Bronx, New York. 


Since leaving Saint Barnabas, Dr. Stuart Remer has primarily concentrated on consulting work, advising medical professionals in New York. His areas of expertise include high-speed bone removal systems such as the Midas Rex and joint replacement systems from companies such as Stryker and Zimmer.
