- Part of the core team driving the Ease of Doing Business initiative for Government of India.
Responsible for strategy development for regulatory simplification and government process improvement leading to 67 point improvement in country's ranking on the 'Doing Business' index, pushing India into the top 63 nations. Examined international regulatory practices and provided tailored solutions as per India's regulatory structure.
- Worked with Foreign and Commonwealth Office (British High Commission) to render project management support for UK-India Ease of Doing Business initiatives. Prepared a strategic action plan of UK’s best practices that can be adopted in India.
- Assisted Government of Haryana in Ease of Doing Business and investment promotion programme. Reform implementation through Government process re-engineering and policy advisory support, resulting in a 8 rank jump within a year. Assisted the State Government in showcasing Haryana as the preferred destination of investment and attract private sector investments in sectors such as Automobile, Electronics, Food Processing, Textile, among others. Assisted the State Government in Global Investors Summit during which more than 350 MoUs were signed with total value exceeding INR 5.5 lakh crores.
- Worked towards implementation of World Trade Organization’s Trade Facilitation Agreement in India. Examined regulatory, administrative, technology and infrastructure issues impinging on cross border trade and recommended areas of improvement
