Ted Catino

Throughout his career in finance and accounting, Theodore “Ted” Catino has used his professional expertise to serve his community. He stands out as the cofounder of the Security National Automotive Acceptance Corporation (SNAAC), an auto-financing group that he established to serve the military market. Theodore “Ted” Catino and his wife Becky established the company in the mid-1980s in response to this market's unmet need for auto loans.

Becky and Ted Catino entered the industry as financing partners to a California dealer and secured capital from an initial investor. In only three years, they bought out their first investor's interest and established strong lines of credit. The company continued to grow and received a number of industry awards, including the Thank You Foundation's Community Service Award. Since the company's sale in 2011, he has focused on his independent investment and consulting work. He also takes an active role with the Catino Family Foundation, managed by his son, T. J. Catino, which serves the needs of U.S. military service personnel and Catholic educational organizations.
