Georgia Pastor Focused on Women’s Empowerment

Pastor Teresa McGill is a spiritual leader in the Columbus, Georgia, community who serves as Rapha Ministries International’s CEO. In this role, Teresa McGill manages the nonprofit organization’s efforts to assist women in Georgia who are facing challenging life situations, through career advising, educational advancement mentoring, and parenting skills counseling.

Pastor McGill completed her academic studies in accounting at Alabama A&M University and held various leadership positions, including chief financial officer, in the business and government sectors before transitioning to her current role. Her accomplishments have included founding the Kingdom Christian Academy and Preparatory School with her husband and providing quality education to local children with disabilities.

Pastor McGill’s efforts have been recognized by former U.S. President Barack Obama, who awarded her the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award. She has also contributed vital support and leadership to the construction of care homes for women and orphanages in communities across the globe.
