Bio

Grew up in the Texas Hill Country with a passion for learning from all that life has to offer. Began first job at 12 years old shining shoes at local barber shop. Spent youth years excelling in school as well as working and participating in extra-curricular activities. Accepted to University of Texas at San Antonio to minimize expenses and later transferred to Texas A&M University with a 3.8 GPA. Worked full time in restaurants while taking at least 15 credit hours every semester.

Provided range of assistance from technical support to marketing advice for both restaurants and their clients. Worked closely with other team members to coordinate different tasks such as processing disbursement reports to creating marketing campaigns. Developed exceptional relationships with peers and helped foster a positive work environment. Two internal promotions in 6 months. 

December 2018 - December 2019

Pit Master and Catering Coordinator  1775 Texas Pit BBQ

Assisted Owner with producing award-winning smoked meats while maintaining full student work load. Also managed caterings for all events not personally overseen by owner. Aided in the restaurants infrastructure and critical member in Restaurants growth planning.

May 2017 - September 2018

Grill Chef  Brotherton's Black Iron

Began as dishwasher in summers between first college semesters. Learned diligently from gifted supervisors. Thrived in fast passed high stress environment. Eventually Promoted to Grill chef and was 3rd in charge behind Head Chef and Sous-chef. Developed close relationship and appreciation for peers as well as management.
