BORN Group, Solutions Architect/Principal Engineer, Dec 2022 ~ Present

Independently provided a response to a prospective clients Request for Proposal (RFP) from brief to proof of concept (POC) within two weeks, providing a new solution to manage a high-volume (2.5k/month) image processing through AI-driven categorisation using Python to train a YOLO v8 model combined with Chili Publish.


Orchestrated a cross-functional five person team to create a versatile Marketing technology (MarTech) solution, incorporating OpenProject and Chili Publish frameworks, integrating a Next.js architecture with Material-UI components, with a dockerised backend to allow for scalability. An initial eight-week response to an RFP that gained traction within the business to be upsold to existing customers.


BORN Group, E-commerce Lead Developer, Mar 2020 ~ Nov 2022

Led an agile team of three as part of a multinational Adobe Commerce (Magento) project, to the successful go-live events for multiple countries. I was responsible for the seamless integration of third-party applications, handling unexpected emergency problems and provided expert support for clients' Magento Business Intelligence (BI) needs.


I was brought in to save a Bloomreach implementation for a national retailer from potential failure, by communicating with the customers PM and Head of Technology to figure out where the issues were occurring, leveraging BRXM functionality, tailoring third-party integrations and reinvigorating the team to exceed the requirements and complete the project with commendation from the client.
