Timothy Kovacs

Early-Childhood Education Management

Timothy Kovacs serves as assistant director of education services at the Baldwin Park Unified School District in Southern California. In this role, he is in charge of early-childhood education, coordinating a team tasked with ensuring the mental and physical wellbeing of young students. Areas of focus for Timothy Kovacs include case management, monitoring, and nutrition, as well as the budget and compliance aspects of operations.

Mr. Kovacs is licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) and gained certification at the Center for Integrated Family and Health Services. He also holds a graduate degree in psychology from California State University, Fullerton. He gained early experience through an internship with YWCA Wings (Women In Need Growing Stronger) and provided crisis intervention and therapy services at a shelter and through an outreach center.

Since 2005, Mr. Kovacs has also served as an adjunct faculty member at Azusa Pacific University and taught master’s-level psychology courses, such as Intro to Clinical Practice.
