The recipient of a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Oklahoma, Timothy Norton has more than 25 years of pharmaceutical and medical sales experience, beginning with a 5-year stint at Quintiles. Timothy Norton subsequently joined Takeda Pharmaceuticals North America as a sales specialist. Working out of Oklahoma City, he was ranked among the top 20 percent of the company's sales force in 2001 and 2002. He joined Schering-Plough Pharmaceuticals, also in Oklahoma City, the following year as territory sales manager.
Timothy Norton continued to showcase his sales abilities, exceeding 100 percent of sales targets both years he worked for Schering-Plough. He subsequently served 3 years as senior territory manager at Amylin Pharmaceuticals, where he sold type I and type II diabetes biotech injectable therapies to endocrinologists and internal medicine physicians. He used innovative sales strategies to facilitate a 150 percent sales increase in the market.
After spending 2 years in a sales management capacity at Ista Pharmaceuticals, Mr. Norton joined Compassus as a business sales director. Since 2019, he has worked as a health care account executive at ECOLAB. Complementing his extensive industry experience, he is versed in new product development, marketing management, team building, and strategic partnerships.
