Autobiography


    My name is Yi-Ting Lin. I was born on July 19, 1993. I graduated from National Taiwan Ocean University with a master's degree in Electrical Engineering ( Program of Information Technology ). My advisor is Professor Mu-Der Jeng. During my master's degree, I mainly specialized in single-chip firmware development and computer vision research. The projects I have been involved, Brainwave analyzer firmware software development, Vehicle management system software and hardware development, Physiological signal monitoring system software and hardware development,My master thesis is Development of Accelerated Pedestrian Identification System Using Partial Areas. This paper is the research and implementation of algorithm based on machine learning for computer vision image recognition. I integrated and planned several projects during my master's. And I can improve my professional knowledge by taking courses in related fields, and under the guidance of professors and self-breakthrough, I can find a balance between my studies and research. 

     After graduation, I served in the fire department with a passion for giving back to the community. I took the emergency medical technician license while serving. I work as a paramedic in an ambulance,In this job, I learned team work and try my best to rescue the disaster scene when life is at stake. I learned to make the best judgments in high pressure situations. 

     After the service, I worked as a computer vision development engineer at Huper Lab. My main work is the implementation and research of deep learning algorithms, and write the algorithm into the monitoring system. Build a suitable network according to the purpose and environment, and create a training tool for training the deep learning identification system, and optimize the training process. The other main case is the development of software and firmware for RF People Counter. Use of RF devices and machine learning to monitor the people. I also assisted in the development of the 3D depth camera system and helped to improve the problems posed by different environments. Through these practical experiences, my ability to discover, analyze and solve problems has improved.
