Paws on Patrol

  • Integrated Google Maps and Geolocation API to allow users to locate their devices and find nearby pet sitters.
  • Utilized React useReducer and Firestore onSnapshot to create real-time chat rooms. 
  • Deployed Firebase Functions to provide third-party payment functionality via Stripe payment integration. 
  • Using React context to manage global state and implementing a Single Page Application (SPA) with React Router.

Taipei Day Trip Website

  • Developed infinite scroll, photo carousel features and photo preload to enhance user experience.
  • Implemented RESTful APIs using Python Flask and MySQL, with the frontend fetching data via AJAX.
  • Integrated with third-party payment service Tappay to enable online payment. 
  •  The website is deployed on AWS EC2, and member photos are stored on AWS S3.
  • Implementing responsive web design (RWD) with grid and flex.
