Trevon Gross

Senior Pastor and Leader at Hope Cathedral

The co-founder of Hope Cathedral in Jackson, New Jersey, Pastor Trevon Gross accepted his call to preach at the age of 14, earning his license to preach from Mount Calvary African Methodist Episcopal Church on January 20, 1985. Over the following years, Pastor Trevon Gross completed his BA in religious studies from the University of Virginia and received his diaconate ordination from the African Methodist Episcopal Church. He went on to serve both as an assistant pastor and senior pastor to various churches including Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Fall River, Massachusetts, and St. John African Methodist Episcopal Church in Niagara Falls, New York.

At Hope Cathedral, Pastor Trevon Gross provides leadership while serving as chief spiritual executive responsible for executing the church’s mission. He has held the role for 18 years, offering pastoral care and teaching to congregants while supervising planning and administration work. Powered by a purpose to touch people with the love of God so that they become believers, Pastor Trevon Gross’ ministry is dedicated to passionate worship and compassionate service to others. He chairs the church’s Helping Other People Excel Inc., a community development corporation, and Hope House for Children Inc., which rescues children in crisis. Pastor Trevon Gross also supervises the church’s media arm, Steadfast Hope Ministries.
