Provide leadership to the Intercollegiate Athletics Department. Direct and coordinate the development of administration of all athletic programs in compliance with NJCAA regulations. Build and maintain relationships with campus partners, alumni, and the larger Kilgore/Longview community. Create an environment designed to facilitate the growth and development of the individual student-athlete as well as athletic teams and integrate with student and academic programs. Prepare and implement department budgets and coordinate fundraising programs and accounts. Oversee the daily operation of the KC Athletic softball, basketball, and football facilities. Engage in and support fundraising activities for the Athletic Department and individual athletic teams. Represent the University and the interests of its student-athletes, coaches, and staff in service to the NJCAA and Region 14 Conference. As an adjunct Kinesiology professor, I assist with interviewing and evaluating potential full-time employee hires in Kinesiology, monitor student progress, and assist students in accomplishing established learning objectives.

Responsible for all sporting events activities and operations of the athletic department, including managing operational budget and personnel activities. Worked with Wiley College administration, staff, students and community to enhance the idealization of the facility.

Oversaw all aspects of the program including recruiting, operations, monitoring academic progress, budget management, fundraising, scouting, scheduling, strength and conditioning, all while maintaining a culture of compliance with the Red River Athletic Conference and the NAIA. In addition to coaching and administration responsibilities, I taught the following Education courses: Adapted Physical Education, Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries, Health Education, and Kinesiology. Delivered mid-term and final grades to the Registrar's Office according to the academic calendar.

Responsible for all basketball operations food, travel, recruiting expenses, supplies, and equipment. Constructed preseason and off-season strength and conditioning training programs. Spearheaded player development strategies for all guards. Coordinated recruiting efforts for the program. Lone season at Tyler resulted in a 23-8 season while producing one NJCAA All-American and three All-Conference players. In addition to coaching, I was also privileged to have a role in the Physical Education/Kinesiology Department teaching adjunct courses. Courses taught include Water Aerobics and Weight Training.
