Dr. Jennifer Bracey is an accomplished physician and teacher. She has taught at the Fundamentals of Patient Care course for first-year medical students and has won numerous awards for her teaching excellence. At MUSC, she was selected for the Michael C. Assey Attending of the Year award. Also, she received the prestigious Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine award from the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Bracey is a health policy researcher and advocate who have co-authored several papers on healthcare disparities, access to care, and health policy. A member of the Society of General Internal Medicine (SGIM), Bracey has given invited seminars on various aspects of health policy and presented at workshops on topics such as structural racism in healthcare and telehealth technology in clinical practice. Passionate about ensuring that all have access to quality healthcare, Bracey is committed to working towards a just system for all.
