Vaughn Millette

Entrepreneur with Diverse Interests

The recipient of a bachelor's in marketing from Providence College, Vaughn Millette began his career in private wealth management with Morgan Stanley and later held similar positions with New York's Citigroup Smith Barney and UBS Financial Services. From 2010 to 2014, Vaughn Millette served as executive director for Global Investment Renewable (GIR), a business he founded to change the way municipal utilities financed power stations.

As an entrepreneur with diverse interests, Vaughn Millette changed his focus to live entertainment upon leaving GIR in 2014. The following year, he established a personal investment fund to invest in live entertainment and, in 2016, he launched Jobu Presents as an artist-driven promotion company. The goal of the business is to minimize the presence of secondary ticketing and, in turn, allow more money to go to the artists. Since launching the company the has secured partnerships with DTI Management, Frank Productions, and Publicis Media, and has won deals over established competitors such as AEG and Live Nation.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Mr. Millette is a member of the Providence College Business School's board of advisors. In his free time, he enjoys fishing and taking part in public service initiatives.
