A research-oriented language educator, with a linguistic background in discourse analysis, pragmatics, semantics, and second language acquisition. I graduated summa cum laude from the Department of English, National Taiwan Normal University, and completed a master's thesis tackling disciplinary differences in the use of Chinese connectives. As a multifaceted language educator, I have an intense interest in applied linguistics, academic writing, language assessment and test item designing. I also have a full-time experience in English editing and developing competency-driven items for the Comprehensive Assessment Program for Junior High School Students. Part-time jobs include English translation and the service as a designated interpreter at Taiwan High Prosecutors Office.
