世大運網球館志工

在內湖網球館擔任志工,負責引導選手出入方向及控管餔相關人士的進出,例如媒體室,則媒體以外人員則禁止他人進入。而志工是兩人一組,我跟我的同伴裡,我負責與選手溝通的工作,也讓我有更多的機會與外國人用英語溝通,增強我的英語口說能力。

圖片中是我與墨西哥網球選手的教練合照,教練非常熱情地與我聊天,教導我網球相關技巧與知識。

一周的志工經驗下來,讓我最興奮的是與選手接觸,看到各國同年紀的選手,著實讓我很興奮。而我印象深刻第一天早上,我遠遠看到穿深藍色選手服的選手走過來,因為各國選手服有其對應的顏色,我看長相很像日本人,於是我用日文對他們說早安,他們卻疑惑的看著我,經過以後我才看到他們背上寫著 " Korea " 。


Universiade Volunteer

I were assigned to the tennis center in Neihu, and our job were that make people go to the right way or show the way they want to go. For example, people were not allowed to the media room, so we have to make sure that nobody goes into it except the press. And two people in a group, it was always me that talked to players. Yeah, that's my job. Due to keeping chatting with western people, I could improve my English speaking a lot. And I would love to chatting with them as well. That's my personality, and that's one of the reason I want to be a salesperson.


自傳

我-高民昇,家庭來自台北市,家庭成員包含爸爸、叔叔、姑姑、姑丈,都是從基層業務做起,一路往上到管理職位,因此從小耳濡目染下,對於從事業務方面有相當的興趣及自信。從小喜歡與人聊天,不論認識與否,長大後這個性尤其明顯,記得上次去美國,每到一個點就找人聊天,看到一個壯漢開著旅行車後面掛了一台越野摩托車,我出於好奇上去詢問,原來是剛從沙漠回來;或是吃完中國菜出來看到廚師在抽菸,上去聊天才知道廚師大哥來自廣東,來加州做廚師約聘一年。所以對於業務這份工作可以說是第一志願。

而過去大學生活裡參加系學會,擔任器材的職務,負責與學校租借系上活動所需器材,不斷的開會與溝通,除此之外遇到熱門時期需要與別系器材長協調場地與器材的租借,一年下來也讓我了解不少這份職位的辛苦,至於對我成為業務的幫助,我想應該是與別系器材維持關係,像是維持舊有客戶一樣,而關係最好的則是學校器材室的老師們,很多時候在老師的幫助下,我才得以在熱門時段領先其他系取得器材,幫助系上活動順利進行。



I'm a graduated student from Tunghai University who grown up in Taipei.job  All my family members started their career as salespersons. So I've always listened them talking about their working experience since I was small. As a result, I have lots of interest of being a salesperson. And I'd love to chatting with people, no matter I know him or not. I think that's a good personality to be a salesperson. Like last time I went to the United States, I always chatted with people, even just a few words. For example, I saw a big guy park his van with a motorcycle  hanging back at it. Then I  asked him where is he going. He said he just came back from the desert. Or there was one time we went to Chinese restaurant for dinner. When I finished it, I went to chat with the cook, then I realize he came to Los Angles to work for one year. To sum up, to be a salesperson is my first option.

 During the University, I was director of equipment in the student association. Continuous meetings and communication are our weekly routine to make sure every activity is on schedule. And I needed to keep good relationship with directors of others department. I think it's like a salesperson need to keep good relationship with their clients. I was also close to the teacher who is in charge of the equipment of the school. I got lots of help from the teacher during the rush time. That made me to help our activity work successfully.
