OptiNet
Created a desktop application with a mathematical model in Python for a large engineering firm to make optimal decisions using linear programming
- The tool is useful to do what-if analysis
- The tool is helpful in making resource allocation decisions.
- The tool also has capability to save Millions in investment for the infrastructure projects.
- The project is made in Python, with output in Excel, Google Maps and Google Earth.
Image Matching
Housing.com faced issue of duplicate listings on their portal. Developed an application which catches duplicates by image matching and keeps the portal clean.
- Around 0.14 Million properties were found duplicate out of 1.7 Million properties collected
- The project was done in Python and OpenCV for image matching manipulation
Class Scheduler - IIT Bombay
Every semester the college needs to decide which courses will be taken by which students in which class.
- The project scheduled the classes so that overall student movement was minimised.
- The project is currently used to schedule 500+ courses for 1000+ students in 19 slots.
- The project was done in Python and Gurobi Solver
Rail Assignment - Indian Railways
Worked on a project for Indian Railways (National Railway Carrier for India)
- The scope of project was to decide where to move the train and in which direction so that outstanding orders are served and overall transportation cost is minimised The network had 200 trains and decision is taken daily
- The project was done in Python and Gurobi Solver.
- The project significantly reduced the man-hours of the team involved in decision making from 4 Man-hours to approximately 1 Minute.

Hospital Management System
Developed a web application for managing hospital administrative work and client management. The Application would enrol new patients, produce an invoice based on services rendered.

Maintained website for an international American client. Developed new features and optimized software to resolve bugs
