Vishwas Kadam
MD in Internal Medicine and Direct Primary Care
An experienced physician, Dr. Vishwas Kadam holds certifications in basic life support, advanced cardiac life support, and advanced trauma life support. Dr. Vishwas Kadam completed medical training at MGM Medical College in India, where he also served as a clinical instructor of anatomy and a senior house officer in internal medicine. In 2003, he relocated to the UK to work as a senior house officer in internal medicine at the Calderdale Royal Hospital.
The following year, Dr. Vishwas Kadam entered the MD program in internal medicine at the University of Missouri School of Medicine, where he also completed a residency in internal medicine. He went on to working in public health with a focus in clinical research from the University of Alabama, Birmingham, School of Public Health. Additionally, he earn placement as a post-doctoral fellow in clinical nutrition at the university. While completing medical school, he received multiple distinctions, including achieving a certificate of honor in internal medicine and honors in pathology and anatomy.
Dr. Kadam has served as a physician in the US since 2009. Most recently, he provided adult medical care for Kaiser Permanente in Jonesboro, Georgia, from 2019 to 2020.
Most recently, practicing medicine in a Direct Primary Care model, proving health care that is accessible and affordable for all.
Direct Primary Care ( DPC ) - A model that emulates a modern day Gym Membership or Netflix Subscription, in delivering primary care services directly to subscribing patients for a fixed monthly membership fee. Doctors now work for their patients rather than the insurance company.
The Patient becomes paramount, empowered, the consumer of health care services - they get to decide if the services rendered are worth the monthly membership fee. They get to decide if their doctor is working for them - rather than being dictated by their insurance company which provider they must see, they get to choose.
