Walker Royall

Community-Minded Development Executive in Dallas, TX 

Walker Royall is a real estate development and investment executive who lends his support to community organizations like the American Red Cross North Texas chapter and Episcopal School of Dallas (ESD). He serves on the board of the former and is a member of the ESD Dad's Partnership and co-chair of its capital campaign. A resident of Dallas, Texas, Walker Royall serves on the board of Oakwood Bank which, in 2018, was the fastest-growing bank in Texas.

Mr. Royall has served as president of Briarwood Capital Corporation since 1996, during which time the company has acquired and developed a portfolio of residential and retail properties with a combined value of over $500million. In addition to multi-family properties and office buildings, the firm manages shopping centers and single-tenant retail buildings leased by companies such as Chipotle, Bank of America, AutoZone, 24 Hour Fitness, Sprint, and Whataburger.

Before launching Briarwood, Mr. Royall served four years as a leasing and income property sales manager at Paragon Group, which is now part of CBRE. He holds a dual bachelor's degree in finance and real estate from Southern Methodist University and has been a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers for two decades.
