Wayne Milette

Experienced EMT and Health and Safety Professional 

Wayne Milette began his career as a Firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in Rhode Island. He provided emergency fire and medical response services in this position between 1987 and 2010. In 2009, Wayne Milette was employed in the insurance industry as a Health and Safety Coordinator. Over the course of nearly 7 years in this role, he oversaw matters of compliance and regulatory adherence at the company, including not only local, state, and federal regulations, but also standards outlined by organizations such as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the United States Department of Transportation.

A few of Mr. Milette’s past appointments include Safety and Health Specialist, and Safety and Human Performance Manager.

Wayne Milette studied fire science as an undergraduate at the Community College of Rhode Island, where he joined the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society. He continued his fire science education at Providence College, again joining the Honors Society. He graduated from the college magna cum laude with his Bachelor of Science in 1990.
