William Whitman McAbee

Network Administrator and Computer Science Student

In his work as a network administrator with McAbee Travel, Inc., William McAbee uses his knowledge of cybersecurity and computer systems to remotely maintain secure networks for a travel agency primarily serving humanitarian organizations and other nonprofit clients. William McAbee has worked with the Georgia-based company since 2015 while concurrently attending the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC. As a student, he studies computer science with a minor in computing in the arts.

Through his undergraduate studies in Charleston, SC, William McAbee has built a solid foundation of knowledge in computer programming and software engineering. His academic program has also given him the opportunity to study operating systems and programming language concepts, as well as specialized topics in the areas of algorithms, mobile applications, and artificial intelligence. Mr. McAbee's own professional interests in computer science include networking and cybersecurity.

Beyond his pursuits at school and work, he follows college football and the NBA and enjoys listening to popular music. Cars and boating are among his other free-time interests.
