Actually, I was the transferring student at NKUST when I was the freshmen and majored in Applied English; in addition to learning English I also want to learn different professional skills like business so I decided to transfer to NTUB.

My Life
I am the volunteer in two non-profit organizations. That is AWC, Association of World Citizens, and FOWPAL, The Federation of World Peace and Love. Last year, I volunteered to participate in the international conference held by World Taxpayers Association in Sydney. Our team is the representative of Taiwan. We shared the tax problems we faced in Taiwan and also claimed that human rights is important. In this conference, I saw unify and cooperation that every expert suggested multiple solutions to help each other. Besides, we also through the song to deliver the message of conscience, love and peace and spread our positive energy to them.
Motivation
The reason why I choose to apply the internship of HP is because the working culture. In the videos of HP, I saw the diversity and the colleagues share passion with each other. Failing is learning, the working attitudes is also what influence me. When encountering the challenges, I usually face them with positive thinking. Besides, I have an impact on the colleague who mentioned that innovation is the DNA of HP. Honestly, I am curious and the one who is interested in exploring and acquiring, so I will unleash my energy to learn and fulfill this internship.

I would like to share the experience of attending the competition of presentation. Last year my classmate and I participated the contest to present about commercial. The topic we chose was advertisement. In order to attract the judges, my partner and I change the style of the boring and standard way of presentation in to the interesting talk show.
I was responsible for organizing how the presentation do in progress and also designing the ppt and our scripts that should be informative and interesting. During the preparation, we didn’t have many problems but we encountered the sudden challenge on the competition. We were informed unexpectedly to present the next one. At that moment, we feel very nervous but I told my team member to stay calm and be positive. Although we didn’t get the prize, we still received the judges’ admirations and competitors’ compliments of being creativity.
This competition makes me learn that crises is a turnaround. I will never know when or where the challenges I may face, but keep pushing and preparing myself is one of the way to improve and enhance my ability and value.
