Master Thesis: Development of a Flexible Pressure Sensor for Brain Pressure Measurement

  • 2 years of real-time semiconductor instruments operating experience of spin coater, mask aligner, surface profiler, Silicon Deep-RIE System and Oxygen plasma cleaner system at NYCU and NTHU labs.
  • Designed and manufactured a flexible pressure sensor that is smaller than 1 square millimetre with microfluidic structures to solve conductive issues and increase space efficiency.
  • Developed a flexible, firm and bio-compatible brain pressure measuring device to prevent common brain injuries during the operation.
  • Assisted laboratory members and myself to conduct experiments with self-devised Silicon mold that is designed by Ledit.

  • Project: Automatic elector-mechanical system development for intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) assistance
  • Devised a rotary mechanism assisting IVUS probe.
  • Improved the assisting mechanism by packaging compact linear motor and rails, which the final product is half the size of existing products.
