Position Impact
As a Firmware/ Embedded Software engineer, you build up the bridge between the Gogoro Network® and its users by designing embedded software systems in the battery packs, swapping/charging management systems, and all the devices in the network to provide smart and tailored energy services. You are dedicated to developing new features in the management algorithms and new generation products to optimize the Gogoro Network®.

What You Will Do

• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration embedded software development topics and provide technical insights.
• Design, implement and verify new ideas aligned to business/potential business goals on:
  • BMS (battery management system) algorithm on electric vehicles
    
  • Automation machine in swap-and-charge stations
    
  • Industrial and automotive communication protocols
    
  • UX (user experience) enhancement strategies
    
  • Security mechanisms
    
  • OTA (over-the-air) updates
    
  • Big data collection
    
  • Any other related topics
• Monitor and product field performance and construct improvement plans.
  
• Develop new products end-to-end, including
  • Conduct bring-up processes and low-level debug
    
  • Implement new features and manage software releases with the CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) approach
    
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product mass production
• Enhance software quality
