Context

Has advanced knowledge of SEM modules and be able to maintain and improve workprep, be able to think structurally and provide resolution.
Work within standard practices and procedures and is supervised on progress and results. Flag gaps in processes and procedures.
Maintains network with a defined group of people, mainly engineers and developers who focus on technical content.

Requirements

Bachelor degree in technical domain (e.g. mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, opto-electrical engineering, physics). Experienced in a manufacturing industry or position in a technical role is a plus.

Responsibilities

Solutioning / 2nd line support

Contributes to the solution of faults and takes the necessary initiatives and practical decisions to ensure zero repeat. Solves technical and process problems within own focus area structurally (e.g. module).

New Product Introduction

Contributes to New Product Introduction by applying knowledge in product or process development projects; foresees problems in the production process in the design phase and improves the manufacturability of the product.

Engineering

Understands engineering problems related to own tasks, follows learned patterns and proposes solutions to problems.
Undertakes well-defined technical assignments. Contributes to design standards and engineering specifications. Assists in the design, operation and maintenance of equipment, tools and methods. Services in diagnosing and correcting technical problems.

Maintenance

Maintains, validates, provides up-to-date procedures, processes (work preparation) and blueprints/sequences for Factory execution.

Continuous Improvement

Analyzes the production process, points out structural problems and bottlenecks.
Continuously adapt, optimize operating instructions, process flow charts, routings, process parameters and indicators.
Contributes actively to assigned process improvement projects.
Signals gaps in processes and procedures and solves these.

Team management / Coaching

Be able to coach (senior) operators.

Stakeholder Management

Represents manufacturing in D&E/PGP, ensuring an efficient NPI process.
Communication at work center level with own module TS,CS,ME,SCE engineers.
Own level and 1 level higher with (non) Factory departments (engineers, PL).
