About the job

Our computational challenges are so big, complex and unique we can't just purchase off-the-shelf hardware, we've got to make it ourselves. Your team designs and builds the hardware, software and networking technologies that power all of Google's services. As a Hardware Engineer, you design and build the systems that are the heart of the world's largest and most powerful computing infrastructure. You develop from the lowest levels of circuit design to large system design and see those systems all the way through to high volume manufacturing. Your work has the potential to shape the machinery that goes into our cutting-edge data centers affecting millions of Google users.

The team elevates audio experiences by validating and optimizing the interplay between innovative algorithms and embedded hardware, ensuring performance across diverse devices. The team supports the development and implementation gap between audio algorithms and firmware to ensure integration and performance on goal hardware. The team leads hardware-aware validation and debugging of audio algorithms under various operating conditions, maximizing hardware/software synergy.

The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience. Google’s mission is to organize the world‘s information and make it universally accessible and useful.

Since our founding in 1998, Google has grown by leaps and bounds. From offering search in a single language we now offer dozens of products and services—including various forms of advertising and web applications for all kinds of tasks—in scores of languages. And starting from two computer science students in a university dorm room, we now have thousands of employees and offices around the world. A lot has changed since the first Google search engine appeared. But some things haven’t changed: our dedication to our users and our belief in the possibilities of the Internet itself.
