WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You’ll be based in our Shanghai or Taipei office and will be part of our McKinsey Transformation (MT) team and will work closely with our Data Analytics group.
McKinsey Transformation (MT) is a special unit of McKinsey that delivers a proven approach for transformational change to clients seeking radical and sustainable performance improvement. Over the last several years, we have worked with more than a hundred organizations around the world and across sectors. Most of our clients are driven by a desire to capture untapped potential; others face significant external challenges or industry discontinuities.

The center of the MT methodology is the Transformation Office (TO), the team at the heart of every transformation that orchestrates all other client and McKinsey activity. At the core of the Transformation Office is the Transformation Acceleration Analyst (TA Analyst), who intimately understands the methodology and all the tools and processes required to deliver a transformation.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You will apply your data engineering skill-sets and business concepts to transform clients solving real life complex problems and deliver long term sustainable impact.In this role you’ll work through the transformation methodology and get a complete 360-degree experience of our end to end work with clients. You will work with clients to set-up and execute a best in class Transformation Office and the related Performance Infrastructure. You will deploy McKinsey’s transformation management tool (Wave) and various assets/ solutions critical to a transformation spanning across organization health, working capital, client capability building etc. You will enable cadence planning, impact capturing, program management and financial models drawing upon analytical tools e.g., Excel, VBA. Working hand in hand with team members from clients, consultants and multiple firm capabilities, you will ensure seamless delivery, provide guidance and leadership to teams. You will also coach clients, pull in the latest firm developments in technology and client service to advance the current practice and challenge consultant / client mindsets about what is possible and how things are done. You will focus on truly mastering the methodology with many growth options available.
