Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages such as Java or Kotlin.
- Ability to speak and write in English fluently.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Network/IoT protocols(HTTP, TCP/IP, MQTT, WebSocket, ...), third party libraries.
- Strong knowledge of Android design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with software version control and release via Git.
- Experience working with product managers and UX designers.
- Strong knowledge of debugging skills and good coding style.
About the job:
In this role, you will help build user-facing Android apps that provide the best user experience on UI product lines.
You will work with product managers and UX designers to define, ideate, prototype, develop, and test the Android apps while ensuring software quality through rigid software engineering principles.
Responsibilities:
- Join the Android App team in Taipei, and collaborate closely with product managers and UX designers to define/scope product features.
- Design and develop Android applications for the Android platform.
- Work with teams across the organization to make direct technical contributions
