We are building an actuarial analysis platform. In particular, you will be responsible to formulate robust models and calculate various IFRS 17 related measures such as CRM for reporting and analysis. We are looking for analyst that fits this position in either Property or Life Insurance.

You will be performing actuarial analyses and writing robust models required to handle set of products. This will require you have adequate knowledge in creating new products, project future results, reprice existing products, and/or determine their financial strength. The above will require robust actuarial math knowledge along with data science skills and techniques.

1. Acquires and applies advanced knowledge of the business, its products, and processes.
2. Support continuous integrations and continuous deployment (CI/CD) and communicate well with the team.
3. Serve as an actuarial analyst and data scientist.

【You need to have】

1. 1+ years of production experience in Python, R, or other programming languages.
2. Experience in utilizing existing actuarial modeling software (Excel VBA) for pricing, valuation, and/or risk management.
3. Building or reviewing current models, optimizing current models with adjustments and improvements, when appropriate.
4. Able to create models that handle and maintain price level, price structure, and profitability for existing products.
5. Recognize pricing assumptions and the appropriate premiums, interests margins, reserves, and cash values for modeling.
6. Performs highly complex analysis/design, coding and testing in support of project responsibilities.
7. Implementation of data controls and system improvements related to the valuation processes.
8. Work on Statutory, GAAP, and Tax valuation for Pension Risk Transfer (PRT), Stable Value and Spread Lending. You will also be involved in running projections for business Plan, RBC, and Cash Flow Testing.
9. Support in running projection models for RBC, Loss Recognition Testing (LRT), Business Plan and Asset Adequacy Analysis.
10. Collaborate with backend engineers to influence the design, alignment, and implementation of technical standards.
