Amazon/Ring is looking for a Product Quality Engineer who will focus on Electronic design quality related validation for existing and new products.

You will be a part of our global DQA team playing a critical role in ensuring the highest product quality and driving continuous improvement for the products.

You will work closely with development team, contract manufacture and component vendor to coordinate and facilitate the execution of the product's quality needs.

You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will:
● Work with Product & Development teams to design and implement Test Strategy to deliver quality product.
● Define Quality Metrics and implement measurements to determine test effectiveness, testing efficiency.
● Ensure our products meet high standards of quality, performance, Security, and reliability.
● Help tackle engineering challenges and contribute creative ideas to the engineering teams.
● Hands on to perform the quality verification.

Basic qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
● Familiar with equipment operations: scope, power supply, data acquisition...etc.
● SI / PI knowledge ==> high speed circuit layout guide, experience of hands for the measurement of the SI / PI circuit would be a plus
● 5+ years of professional development experience with Electronic, Thermal, Mechanical, Video, Audio or Acoustic
● Hands-on experience with test planning, test designing and execution, performance and stress testing, implementing and maintaining high quality test
● Experience building and designing test cases including knowledge of test methodologies.
● Experience in working with overseas CM/OEM/ODM Vendors in product development
● Proven ability to deliver in a changing environment
● Demonstrated ability to sort through many competing priorities and define processes that improve execution
● Experienced in gathering requirements and providing specifications
● Ability to drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple groups
● Strong technical and problem solving skills

Preferred qualifications
● Experience in managing IP camera/IOT related projects will be a plus.
● Strong Communication and problem-solving skills.
