Claire’s English is seeking a motivated full stack software engineer to build new products and improve upon existing ones as the company becomes more technology-oriented.

Responsibilities include:

• Design and develop AI chatbots used for supporting students in learning English and for grading assignments
• Create new products from the ground up, and improve upon existing features
• Develop internal tools for use by the team
• Implement metrics to measure product performance and user engagement
• Ensure the company encounters no technical difficulties in web operations, which includes maintaining the company’s WordPress website (form integration, plugin installation, ensuring website security and speed)

You are:

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, Express, and React.js
• An excellent communicator
• Able to learn quickly and interested in working for a small, fast-paced company
• Eager to grow as an engineer through learning new languages and technologies
• Able to demonstrate strong coding ability through past projects
