Summary

DOWN Dating App is looking for a curious, resourceful and motivated App Safety Monitor ****to maintain a safe and clean dating platform in order to provide a trustful, honest and fun experience to our users.

You will be trained to act as our product administrator and detective. You are responsible for reviewing tickets and hunting any user with suspicious or inappropriate behaviors, tackling the scammer down before they make any harm to other users or to the company.

What will I work on?

• Work with Backend engineers to review all ticket raised and response to potential scammer alert
• Follow protocol to investigate each potential fraud case and provide solutions for each case.
• Observe, analyze and report any new suspicious behavior encountered.
• Monitor new user behavior and content posted.
• Make decisions to ban scammer accounts and users with inappropriate behavior.
• Build review report and constantly update protocols

Job requirements

What skills are required?

• Strong sense of detail
• Good level of English / understanding of US slang
• Investigator mindset
• Experience with Dating App is a plus
• Able to handle inappropriate media content

The past and future of the team

Founded in 2013 by The Global Growth Expert, Colin Hodge, Down was acquired by Paktor in 2016 after reaching over 5 million users organically, merged companies with 17Live in 2017, and then reacquired by the founders in 2018.

We now treat Taipei as our headquarters, growing from a team of 2 into 10. Team members often get exposure to multiple aspects of running successful, profitable social apps, while growing their ownership skills for one main area.
