Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud computing and extensive experience in deploying, automating, maintaining, and managing AWS and Alibaba Cloud environments, ensuring the availability, performance, scalability, and security of the systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud environments in AWS and Alibaba Cloud, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability.
• Automate deployment, scaling, and management processes using IaC (Infrastructure as Code) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Alibaba Cloud Resource Orchestration Service.
• Work closely with development teams to integrate cloud services into the application lifecycle, ensuring efficient delivery and operation of services.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated code deployment using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Alibaba Cloud's CI/CD services.
• Ensure system security through best practices, including regular audits, compliance checks, and implementing security measures.
• Monitor cloud environments, analyzing and resolving performance issues and ensuring optimal cost management.
• Facilitate disaster recovery and contingency planning, ensuring data integrity and availability.
• Stay updated with new cloud technologies and features, evaluating their applicability to our goals and integrating them as appropriate.
• Collaborate with team members to improve the company’s engineering tools, systems, procedures, and data security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a proven track record in AWS and Alibaba Cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud services, including compute, storage, network, and security in AWS and Alibaba Cloud.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or Alibaba Cloud Container Service).
• Knowledge of CI/CD methodologies and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Alibaba Cloud DevOps).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications in AWS and Alibaba Cloud are highly desirable.
• Experience with deploy ML models and SageMaker is a plus.
