As a Senior SIT Tech Lead, you would

Provides technical support and lead the test effort through the Engineering development process and implementation of company’s products. Develop strategies for increased schedule and quality predictability for continuous integration with high repetition, and simulating and testing customer environments.

Responsibilities:

• The planning, development, and implementation of procedures for the testing and evaluation of current and next generation ProLiant DL/ML and Hyperscale server products in the System Integration Test organization.
• Perform test failure reproduction in local lab; setup, execution, debug. Working with off-shore test engineers and local developers to facilitate issue resolution.
• Utilizing in-depth understanding of platforms, peripherals, and software to develop and create test strategies for newly developed HPE solutions (platforms, peripherals, software) that encompass requirements, scope, and schedule based on Product Development Guides, Engineering Functional and System specifications and Program Core Team input
• Design and develop test plans using HPE and Industry Standard test tools
• Create risk management plans with triggers that are tied to contingencies to reduce risk and impact scope, schedule, cost and quality
• Representing the test organization interests in interaction with development and program core teams
• Growing knowledge and expertise with the development of new leading edge technologies
• Work closely with test project manager to drive test execution to test engineers
• Support remote test execution, troubleshooting, and issue debugging
• Recommend purchase of test equipment and infrastructure

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Typically 10+ years experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Hands on experience with Linux (Red Hat, SLES), Windows Server, and VMWare.
• Experience configuring computer systems and effective troubleshooting skills
• Experience configuring Rack & Tower and Hyperscale servers, Fibre Channel/Ethernet Switches
• Experience with Virtual Connect technology
• Must possess a very solid understanding of testing methodologies
