Responsibilities:

• Lead the architectural design and development of sophisticated video streaming web apps and CMS platforms.
• Direct the evolution of shared libraries and frameworks, enriching our software ecosystem.
• Collaborate with product owners, backend engineers, QA, and designers to bring innovative projects to fruition.
• Promote engineering excellence, advocating for superior code quality, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Mentor and nurture engineering talent, encouraging a culture of learning and continuous advancement.
• Propel the adoption of leading-edge technologies and methodologies, ensuring our tech industry leadership.
• Impact product strategy and engineering processes, enhancing team productivity and product excellence.

Requirements:

• Over 6 years of frontend development experience, with a stellar record in leading large-scale projects.
• Expertise in HTML, CSS, Javascript (ES6+), React (hooks), Redux, and Next.js.
• Deep understanding of RESTful API or GraphQL integrations within complex applications.
• Comprehensive experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) and CI/CD practices familiarity.
• Proficiency in addressing cross-browser compatibility issues, particularly for mobile web.
• Demonstrated capability in crafting performant, decoupled, testable, and maintainable code.
• Outstanding communication skills and adeptness in collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environments.
• An ardent enthusiasm for modern web technologies and an ongoing commitment to industry innovation.

Nice To Have:

• Leadership experience in shared library development and active open-source contributions.
• Advanced understanding of web security (CORS, XSS, CSRF) and agile methodologies (Scrum).
• Proven track record of technical article publication or speaking engagements at industry conferences.
