Responsibilities:
1. System Monitoring:
• Implement and maintain robust monitoring solutions to track the performance and health of our systems.
• Proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they impact the user experience.
• Utilize monitoring tools on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to ensure optimal system running state.
2. Infrastructure Updates:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute infrastructure updates, ensuring minimal downtime and a seamless user experience.
• Work on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and reliability of our infrastructure.
3. Kubernetes and GKE:
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters, with a focus on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Implement best practices for container orchestration and automation to streamline deployment processes.
4. Database Management:
• Administer PostgreSQL and Redis databases, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Work closely with the development team to optimize database queries and configurations.
5. Alert System Construction:
• Design and implement a robust alerting system to promptly notify the team of any deviations from normal system behavior.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define meaningful alerts and thresholds based on key performance indicators.
6. System Log Analysis:
• Perform in-depth analysis of system logs to identify patterns, trends, and potential issues.
• Utilize log analysis tools to troubleshoot and diagnose system anomalies, collaborating with relevant teams to implement solutions.

1. Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role.
2. Strong proficiency in Google Cloud Platform services.
3. Expertise in managing web services and microservices architectures.
4. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Google Kubernetes Engine.
5. Proficiency in administering PostgreSQL and Redis databases.
6. Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) principles.
7. Excellent scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Shell).
8. Experience with constructing and optimizing alerting systems.
9. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
10. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
