As a machine learning engineer, he/she will collaborate with engineers and conduct machine learning solutions on industrial problems. The responsibility includes working with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging customer’s data to drive business solutions and develop custom data models and algorithms. The right candidate will demonstrate the ability to work with a wide range of functional teams.

【Job Description】

✦ Cooperate with solution architects and sales to understand and assess customer machine learning use cases

✦ Work with large, complex data sets. Solve difficult, non-routine analysis problems, applying advanced analytical methods as needed. Conduct end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering and requirements specification, processing, ongoing deliverables, and presentations.

✦ Build and prototype analysis pipelines iteratively to provide insights at scale. Develop a comprehensive understanding of data structures and metrics, advocating for changes where needed for both products development and sales activity.

✦ Interact with a wide variety of people and teams. Work closely with engineers to identify opportunities for, design, and assess improvements for clients

【Minimum Qualification】

✦ Bachelor degree in related fields, e.g. computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, statistics, bioinformatics, physics, operations research, industrial engineering.

✦ 2+ years of programming experience in Python, R, or other object-oriented languages.

✦ 2+ years of experience in machine learning

✦ Excellent organization and communication skills.

【Preferred Qualification】

✦ 1+ years of hands-on experience on major cloud platform, e.g. GCP or AWS

✦ Familiar with RESTful framework (Django, flask, etc)

✦ Experienced in transforming the business requirements to machine learning problems.

✦ Experienced in developing/maintaining a machine learning-based service.✦ Demonstrated skills in selecting the right statistical tools given a data analysis problem.

✦ Demonstrated willingness to teach others and learn new techniques.
