Senior Product Engineer - Foodservice
Job Description
- Drive new product development from initial inception through to production launch in accordance to established procedures
- Drive product validation by working with US validation team
- Support the customers for product design and engineering issues for assigned products, ensuring
support of performance demands, ease of assembly, cost and quality targets are met.
- Follow up on prototyping and pilot run in liaison with cross-function teams to ensure all deliverables
are achieved.
Address technical questions/concerns from customers and service team
- Identify improvement opportunities on products or process and take actions.
- Understand product cost analysis and design to meet target cost
- Follow project management process
Requirements
• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science; OR 5 years’ related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience required; MS Degree preferable
• Must engage in continuous education to maintain a state-of-the-art knowledge of developments in the Engineering field
• At least 5 years of developing related consumer electrical product design
• Requires approximately 5-10% domestic travel
