Job Description

We are looking for a candidate for the position of Quality Manager - who will be responsible for ensuring that the software products and services delivered by the company meet the highest quality standards. They will develop and implement quality assurance processes, monitor adherence to quality control measures, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The Quality Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain quality standards, perform audits and inspections, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Develop and Implement Quality Assurance Processes:
    • Design and implement quality assurance processes and procedures for software development, testing, and deployment.
    • Establish quality metrics and standards to measure and monitor product quality throughout the development lifecycle.

  2. Ensure Adherence to Quality Control Measures:
    • Monitor adherence to quality control measures..
    • Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.
    • Collaborate with development teams to address and resolve identified quality issues and defects.
  3. Drive Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement in software development and quality assurance practices.
    • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive quality enhancements.
    • Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the organization.
  4. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, testing, product management, and customer support, to establish and maintain quality standards.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer requirements and ensure that quality expectations are met.
    • Coordinate with project managers and development teams to align quality objectives with project timelines and deliverables.
  5. Compliance and Regulatory Requirements:
    • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to software quality assurance.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards, such as ISO 9001 or CMMI, as well as industry-specific regulations.
  6. Metrics and Reporting:
    • Establish key quality metrics and performance indicators to measure and report on the effectiveness of quality assurance processes.
    • Generate regular reports on quality performance, defects, and improvements to management and stakeholders.
    • Present findings, recommendations, and action plans to address quality issues and enhance overall product quality.

Working time: Monday - Friday (8.00AM - 11.30AM, 1.00PM - 5.30PM).

Requirements

  • Have more than 4 years experience in software quality assurance or quality management roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of software development processes, testing methodologies, and quality assurance principles.
  • Familiarity with industry quality standards and frameworks, such as ISO 9001, CMMI, or Agile methodologies.
  • Having abilities and working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Experience with quality management tools and software testing tools is a plus.
  • Certifications in quality management or software quality assurance are desirable.
  • Good at Japanese is a bonus point.
