IT support engineer
Provide deskside support to Taipei Offices, resolve their technical issues to return end users to productivity as quickly as possible.
Deskside support scope includes: PC installation, onboarding/termination support, IPT, Printing, VC systems, critical meetings/events support, network, cabling and server rooms administration.
Coordinate projects delivery in Taiwan three offices and external warehouse, involve in project assessment, test, deployment and closure.
•Resolve client technical issues:
1.solate and determine root cause of technical problem based on client input and remote management technology
2. Determine effective resolution of issues by troubleshooting and analyzing computer system errors of moderate to difficult scope where analysis of situations or data require an in-depth evaluation
3. Determine business impact of problem based on Business Unit criteria
4. Provide remote technical support for hardware (printers, desktop, laptop, drivers, monitors) and software (internally developed applications, productivity, computer operating systems, internet applications, and various drivers)
5.Interact with internal and/or external escalation resources to resolve complex technical issues
•Create and update knowledge base to improve service to clients including: develop written procedures, tips, reports, and support related material
•Acquire and maintain knowledge on newly purchased and existing supported desktop software, hardware, and systems
•Work on tasks to develop and/or address process improvements, training, knowledge transfer, reports, and documentation
•Coordinate projects delivery in Taiwan three offices and external warehouse, involve in project assessment, test, deployment and closure.
•Coordinate communication and troubleshooting to determine impact of major system outages which effect the entire organization
•Assist with the testing of new or upgraded PC software and hardware releases as requested
•IT hardware purchase and asset management
•Ensure that company's systems and the information on them are protected in accordance with company's Information Protection Policies and Standards, as well as best Information Protection practices
•Bachelor's degree is preferred
•At least 2 years of IT experience with IT support areas in MNC.
•Experience of Ethernet, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, firewalls, Voice over Ethernet, Routing, switching and VPN technologies/Windows 7/10 Laptop Support and Configuration/Microsoft O365…and other devices managements.
•English read and speaking is a must
•Good communication/team work/ Strong results orientation
•ITIL Foundation V3/V4 is preferred, ITIL Practitioners are preferred;
•CCNA & MCSE is preferred;
