The Communications Specialist is responsible for planning and executing both internal and external communications programs, with a focus on event planning, resources coordination and project management. Scope of responsibility covers supporting employer branding, strategic recruitment events, industry tradeshows/conferences, CSR initiatives, community engagement activities and digital media operations.
As a member of the Corporate Communications team, the desired candidate will work closely with Communications Program Manager, regional executives, internal & external stakeholders, and various industry partners and the media. We are seeking an organized team-player who is capable of working independently and adapting efficiently to a fast-paced work environment to maximize communications results.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Implementing company’s global communications programs and campaigns to increase brand awareness, drive engagement and support company’s business goals.
Work closely with line manager to support the development of overall regional communications plan and marketing strategy for company to continuously build strong brand presence and maximize the impact of brand campaign.
Partner with local HR to implement awareness and branding activities to attract potential talents. Provide marketing communications support and guidance for effective talent acquisition and retention.
Planning, writing, and editing content for a variety of internal communications programs and delivering key messages to all employees.
Support and coordinate domestic industry tradeshows, conferences, and exhibitions to engage with industry players and increase company brand visibility.
Assist in the implementation of community relations initiatives and employee volunteering programs
Provide assistance to translate, localize or develop content for social media posting.
Support corporate comms team in managing workflows for financial process, legal approval, reporting, and collaboration with other internal groups as needed
At least 5 years of working experience in corporate communications function and brand management.
At least 3 years of experience in B2B high-tech industry with semiconductor industry working experience as a plus.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or Marketing equivalent.
Studied abroad in an English-speaking country and/or holding an MBA degree is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal command of both Traditional Chinese and English (TOEFL iBT scores over 100 or IELTS 7.0 above).
