As a quality assurance engineer at SamaTech, your responsibilities include improving the testing process and ensuring the quality of software releases for various projects. You will help collect requirements and acceptance criteria of new features and services. You must have experience with web, API invocation, test plans and test cases, and will closely collaborate with product owner, front-end, back-end, DevOps, and blockchain developers.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze feature requirements and acceptance criteria

• Manage test plans and test cases

• Day to day manual tests to assure the quality of each release

• Releases management based on a predefined milestone

Tech Stack

• Source control: Git

• Testing: Jest, Cypress

Qualifications

• 2+ years working on quality assurance

• Strong writing skill and concept in test plans and test cases

• Familiar with test cases management and issue tracking tools

• Strong understanding of application architecture, scalability, and web security

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years working on quality assurance

• English proficiency

• Familiar with TDD/BDD

• Degree in computer science or a related field

• Proficient with modern software development tools (bundlers, linting, CI/CD, etc)

• Ability to design and implement automation tests

• Experience working on blockchain industry
