This program provides opportunities for international/overseas Chinese students who currently study in Taiwan to participate 6 months training and internship at local industry from July to December, 2021.

Become TCA Trainees (Interns)

1. Eligibility:

• International or overseas Chinese students who hold valid Alien Resident Card(ARC);
  Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao students are NOT eligible for this program.
• Currently study at MOE approved colleges or universities in Taiwan R.O.C.
• Must maintain full-time student status while attending this program
  between May 1^st to December 31^st, 2021 (from entering application to the end of the program);
  in-service students are NOT eligible for this program.
• Must hold valid work permit when successfully being admitted to this program between July 1^st to December 31^st, 2021.

2. Stipend: (from July to December, 2021 during participation of this program)

• Undergraduate trainee stipend: $5,000 NTD per month
• Graduate trainee stipend: $8,000 NTD per month
• Labor and health insurance deductible, income tax deductible will be deducted directly from the stipend.

3. Obligation: (if is admitted to participate this program)

• Trainee must attend compulsory training courses before August 31st (minimum attendance 75%),
  and complete 3 courses on TCA Academy before November 30th.
• Trainee must attend the training courses and project-oriented internship organized
  by the Training Institution with a minimum of 240 training hours in total (including 30 hours minimum of course training); in principle, training and internship hours at the Training Institution should be no less than 40 hours each month.
• Trainee must participate and complete the designated project assigned by the Training Institution.
• Trainee must follow the training rules and evaluation standard established by the training institution,
  such as attendance, performance of training courses, project presentation, and completion of satisfaction survey.
• Trainee must attend the program completion presentation at the end of the year to demonstrate the project result, such as product, service, or solution, as well as the achievement of the joining this training and internship program.
  
• Trainee must submit the project report and program attendance report recording the afterthought about attending this program.
• Trainee must participate the career development survey for at least 2 years after the completion of this program by providing employment information, such employer, position and salary range.
