Product Growth and Business Partnership Lead

Job Description

we embark on the next phase of our growth. You’ll be in charge of growing our existing product lines to the next level. You’ll work with our designer and user researcher, and collaborating closely with Engineering, Business Development, Marketing, and Content teams to ensure we have a cohesive growth strategy across different functions. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast paced environment growing product lines at different stages from expansing and enhancing our magazine services as well as finding the right product market fit for our new services.
This is a high growth role and we are looking for someone with the right fit in terms of skillset as well as company mission and culture. A good candidates with sufficient growth knowledge will learn the latest Silicon Valley’s growth models and tactics together with the rest of team mostly using the curriculum developed by Reforge.

Founded in 2011, Kono was started by Stanford alumni and is headquartered in Silicon Valley. We’ve been building subscription based digital reading products and services for consumers and publishers. Our flagship products Kono Magazine and Kono Libraries are highly rated apps in TW, HK, US and JP. We are entering the next phase of product development, exploring opportunities within the audio content market, continuing to serve publishers and creators and their content consumers.

Requirements

[Your Will]

Work closely across teams to spearhead our growth strategy, collaborating with Engineering, Business Development to take the roadmap from concept to reality
Develop growth models, identify key metrics to track and set high achieving goals that is inline with company goals and strategies.
Serve as the voice of our B2B and B2C customers. Design experiments. Use both quantitative and qualitative signals to identify customer needs and come up with tactics to grow and retain customers.
Partner with the engineering team to help find optimal solutions as well as tradeoffs as well.
Identify market opportunities partnering with business development or even act as a business developer to capitalize on business growth opportunities.
Lead the growth of Kono’s product lines and potentially grow into a manager role.



[You Have]

Preferably 5+ years of digital marketing/growth hacking experience.
Demonstrated track record of successfully marketing and growing product lines in an agile software development environment
A genuine passion for marketing and an obsession over growing and enhancing user experience. You care deeply about our users and can turn user stories into well thought out user journeys and growth opportunities
Data literacy and the ability to ask the right questions in order to design experiments and user research to dig for insights
Well organized and detail oriented with the ability to balance multiple concurrent priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You are comfortable with ambiguity and know how to ask for help and how to use frameworks to solve thorny issues. You understand complex business problems and can craft effective strategies to tackle them
Outstanding written and verbal cross team communication skills. You thrive in teamwork. You possess the ability for independent thinking as well as the grace for constructive feedback, both taking and giving.

  • Familiarity of the Reforge growth models and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with: Slack, Notion, Amplitude.
  • Good English skills in reading and writing
