Home Network Security SDK (HNS SDK) is a turnkey solution of network layer protection that for customers such as Router or xSP vendor to rapidly integrate and deliver to the market. HNS SDK involved Embedded (Deep Packet Inspection, etc), Mobile SDK and Backend together to provide end users with complete security and easy control.

HNS SDK major on network layer protection for devices which connect to the home network. No matter the device is IoT device, Smart TV, Game console, etc… As long as it uses the home network, it can be protected by HNS SDK. HNS SDK provides comprehensive functions such as threat identification, application identification, device identification, QoS, web threat protection and filtering, parental control and network usage.

We are looking for a software engineer who is responsible for embedded platform integration, solution integration/production with backend/mobile app, solution validation and project/quality handle and control. You will cooperate with different platforms, teams and cybersecurity experts to provide consolidated solution to customer, and learn how to stabilize the operations of large system, tune the performance, and solve security matters.

Responsibilities

• Integrate HNS SDK with new chipset platform, verify features and control quality result
• Cooperate with backend and mobile app team to ensure the correctness of API connection
• Review colleagues' design and provide your techie perspective
• Build necessary environment for CI/CD requirement

Qualifications/Requirements:

[Must Have]

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 3+ years of software development experiences in the Embedded domain
• Familiar with C/C++ language
• Familiar with Linux networking architecture and design
• Familiar with TCP/IP networking and network protocols
• Experienced in scripting or programing (Python, bash shell script)
• Good English and good communication
• Proactive and passion in debugging and finding root cause of problems Enthusiasm on pursuit of own product quality

[Nice to Have]

• Understand in backend service, RESTful API, Mobile app and Jenkins Experienced in Docker, OpenStack, Kubernetes
• Testing automation experience
• Experienced on quality control/performance testing/penetration testing
