Online ESL Bilingual Teacher

TutorABC is looking for experienced and energetic Bilingual teachers to join our Mandarin and English teaching team at competitive rates!

GENERAL:
1. Teach English speaking classes to adult and junior learners online.
2. Use set materials to prepare for and teach engaging classes that have fixed learning outcomes in mind.
3. Facilitate authentic speaking opportunities for learners while integrating reading, listening, and writing skills.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Minimum B2 level for both Mandarin and English.
2. Bachelor's degree in an English teaching-related area from an accredited university or an accredited CELTA equivalent ESL qualification.
3. 1-2 years of English teaching experience to low-level students.
4. Willingness to become familiar with relevant course materials.
5. Computer literacy and technical skills.
6. Friendly, engaging personality.
7. Willingness to work flexible hours.

DESIRABLE
1. C1 English proficiency
2. Online teaching experience
3. Available for teaching every weekend during 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. (GMT+8)

Teaching hours:
• Flexible scheduling 24/7
• Required to commit at least 5 hours per week among the timeslots (GMT+8) below:
Mon. – Sun. 19:30 – 21:30
Wed. 13:30 – 15:30
Sat. – Sun. 8:30 – 12:30/13:30 – 16:30

Payment and Benefits
1. Our new standard rate for bilingual 45-min classes is USD 15, excluding bonuses, for teachers that meet the above requirements and show demonstratable pedagogical knowledge in a 1-on-1 interview.

2. Well-performing teachers can qualify to teach on higher-paying courses on our platform, where the highest paid teachers earn up to USD 25 per session depending on the type of class.
