Job Description

The candidate will be working to ensure the optimal activation of advertising campaigns for ViewSonic all around the world. Despite the focus on trading and reporting, there will be growth opportunities in the realm of media planning and technical integrations down the line.

The candidate will be working as a part of a tight-knit Paid Media Team, which sits within ViewSonic’s overall Global Product Group (GPG). The team aims to always distribute work fairly, and shares responsibility for all circumstances as a unit.

Due to the technical and sensitive nature of the team’s function, high attention to detail, transparency in ALL communications, and acceptance of critical feedback are extremely pivotal for all members.

The team encourages the diversity of thought in all areas: making experimentation and testing new ideas/concepts/ad-formats an actual part of our regular processes to ensure that we are always at the forefront of the industry and do not develop lazy habits. Our constituent team members come from a diverse range of backgrounds and we encourage the transparent discussion of conflicting ideas and the mutual learning from one other.

We expect successful candidates to be able to think for themselves, respectfully challenge inconsistencies (even from those in authority), and have the courage to ask questions in confusion. We do not need a ‘yes-man’. We respect an individual’s ability to think critically, and thus the opinions that may follow.

Requirements

· Experience with ad-buying using common DSPs such as FBM, and Google Ads is a must.

· Experience using other platforms/tools such as LinkedIn Ads, The Trade Desk, and Google Data Studio is a plus.

· Candidate should be able to plan a basic multi-platform ad campaign, setup with precision, and optimize performance based on programmatic advertising best practices.

· Good reporting ability – i.e. providing useful insights and commentary based on campaign results (as opposed to simply regurgitating data at face value) is highly valued.

· Very high attention to detail, and an honest team player.

· Being open to self-improvement, and resilience in the face of constructive criticism.

· Objectivity, critical thinking skills, and the courage to speak out will go a very long way.

· Having a random talent or quirk is always a plus.
